.DISCUSSION...
Should be much drier today compared to the last few days.
However, that doesn`t mean there won`t be any rain. Still
anticipating showers along the southeast LA coast and scattered
showers over the River Parishes. Min RH values today will range
from near 80% over much of the River Parishes and near 50% across
portions of southwest Ms and coastal MS. Winds at the surface
will begin rather light but as we heat up easterly winds of
12-14 knots inland and 14 to 17 knots along the immediate coast
with gusts over 20 kts are expected. Even with the breeze winds
fire weather concerns will be minimal given the recent and
additional rain the next few days. There is the possibility of
locally heavy rain Friday through Saturday as a slug of moisture
begins to push inland associated with a weak tropical wave Friday
and Saturday.
