.DISCUSSION...
The biggest concern today and tomorrow will be the continued risk of
thunderstorm and lightning activity as hit or miss thunderstorms
develop throughout the daylight hours. The lightning risk will be
lower tonight as thunderstorm development is currently not expected.
Persistent light southerly winds of 5 to 10 mph will also be in place
through tomorrow. Other than some gusty winds with the passing
thunderstorms, winds will remain below 10 mph through the period.
Temperatures will remain hot and heat index readings will easily climb
into the low to mid 90s both today and tomorrow.
