.DISCUSSION...
Winds will be persistent from the south through tonight near 10 mph. A
slight shift to the south-southwest is expected tomorrow, but winds will
remain below the 10 mph threshhold. The heat and humidity will also
continue with heat index readings once again climbing into the lower 90s
from mid-morning through the afternoon hours. Similar heat index
values are expected tomorrow. A higher than average risk of
thunderstorm development and lightning activity will continue through
tomorrow as a slow moving disturbances passes through the area. The
lightning threat today will be from the late morning through the
afternoon hours. However, the increased lightning threat will last
the entire day tomorrow as greater thunderstorm coverage is forecast to
occur. Multiple rounds of thunderstorms may pass near or over the
incident site tomorrow.
