A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Lake Pontchartrain and Lake Maurepas...

At 218 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and
small hail. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located along
a line extending from 8 nm north of Mandeville to 11 nm south of Lake
Maurepas, moving northeast at 20 knots.

Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots, higher
waves, small hail and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should
seek safe harbor immediately until this activity passes.
