...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT...

For the following areas...
Barataria Bay...
Lake Salvador and Lake Cataouatche...

At 714 PM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms were located along a
line extending from 10 nm north of Golden Meadow to 16 nm northwest
of Barataria Bay, moving south at 10 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

A cluster of severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open
waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water.
Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Seek shelter or move
to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, small hail, high waves, dangerous
lightning, and heavy rain are possible with these storms.
