  Port Fourchon Louisiana from 20 to 60 NM...
  Coastal waters from the Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to
  Port Fourchon Louisiana out 20 NM...

At 1142 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was
located 18 nm south of Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi River,
moving west at 15 knots.

The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this activity passes.
