* At 201 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak waterspouts.
This strong thunderstorm was located over Barataria Bay, moving
east at 10 knots.
Locations impacted include...
Port Sulphur, Empire and Barataria Bay.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
Brief, weak waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on
alert in case warnings are issued for waterspout development.
