A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Lake Borgne...
  Lake Pontchartrain...

At 1119 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of showers, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak waterspouts. This
cluster of showers is generally located along a line extending from
near The Mid Point Of The Causeway Bridge to near Rigolets. The
cluster of showers was nearly stationary.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots and
higher waves. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this
activity passes.

Brief, weak waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on
alert in case warnings are issued for waterspout development.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
forecast office.
