...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 AM CDT...

For the following areas...
Coastal Waters from Port Fourchon LA to Lower Atchafalaya River LA
out 20 nm...
Coastal waters from Port Fourchon Louisiana to Lower Atchafalaya
River LA from 20 to 60 NM...

At 1235 AM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms were located along
a line extending from near Lower Atchafalaya River to 12 nm southwest
of Caillou Bay to 21 nm southeast of Isle Derniers, moving west at 15
knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Caillou Bay and Isle Derniers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water.
Boaters should avoid waterspouts and never try to navigate near them.
Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Seek shelter or move
to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
