Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island Louisiana out 20 to 60 NM... At 1203 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak waterspouts. This thunderstorm was located 50 nm south of Farewell Buoy, moving north at 15 knots. Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this activity passes. Brief, weak waterspouts are possible with this activity.
