The National Weather Service office in New Orleans LA will conduct a storm survey this morning for areas near Hammond and Robert in Tangipahoa Parish Louisiana. The survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area during the early morning hours of October 6th, 2025. A final assessment including results of the survey are expected to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement by later today or Tuesday.
