* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal Waters from Boothville LA to Southwest Pass of the
  Mississippi River out 20 nm...
  Coastal Waters from Stake Island LA to Southwest Pass of the
  Mississippi River from 20 to 60 nm...
  Coastal waters from Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to Port
  Fourchon Louisiana from 20 to 60 NM...
  Coastal waters from the Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to
  Port Fourchon Louisiana out 20 NM...

* Until 1215 PM CDT.

* At 1051 AM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of
  producing waterspouts was located 19 nm southeast of Louisiana
  Offshore Oil Port, or 24 nm southwest of Southwest Pass Of the
  Mississippi River. The cluster of severe thunderstorms were nearly
  stationary.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
           vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves.
           Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Louisiana Offshore Oil Port.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water.
Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Seek shelter or move
to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
