...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL
JEFFERSON AND NORTHWESTERN PLAQUEMINES PARISHES THROUGH 1000 PM CDT
...

At 924 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of Myrtle Grove, or 13 miles southeast of Belle
Chasse, moving southwest at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Port Sulphur, Pointe A La Hache, and Myrtle Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
