...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF CENTRAL ST. HELENA
AND NORTHEASTERN EAST FELICIANA PARISHES, SOUTHEASTERN WILKINSON AND
SOUTHWESTERN AMITE COUNTIES THROUGH 1215 AM CDT

At 1127 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Norwood, or 9 miles north of Clinton, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Clinton, Greensburg, Centreville, Wilson, Norwood, Felps, Darlington,
and Easleyville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
