...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON
COUNTY THROUGH 530 PM CDT
...

At 506 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
capable of producing wind gusts in excess of 40 mph over Moss Point,
moving southwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph. Funnel clouds are also possible.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Pascagoula, Moss Point, Escatawpa, Gautier, and Hickory Hills.

This includes Interstate 10 in Mississippi between mile markers 61
and 74.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
