...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF WESTERN ST. JOHN THE
BAPTIST, EAST CENTRAL ASCENSION, NORTHEASTERN ST. JAMES AND
SOUTHEASTERN LIVINGSTON PARISHES THROUGH 400 PM CDT
...

At 328 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Reserve, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Reserve, Laplace, Edgard, Garyville, Whitehall, Killona, Wallace, and
Killian.

This includes the following Interstates...
 Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 196 and 210.
 Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 6.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
