...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTHWESTERN
TERREBONNE PARISH THROUGH 715 PM CDT
...

At 635 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts over marine areas
along a line extending from 13 miles southeast of Amelia to 13 miles
west of Cocodrie. Movement was southwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous waters. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs
         and blow around unsecured objects.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern
Terrebonne Parish.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
