WASHINGTON PARISHES THROUGH 415 PM CDT
...
At 339 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles east of Kentwood to
near Enon. Movement was southwest at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Covington, Franklinton, Greensburg, Amite, Amite City, Kentwood,
Roseland, Folsom, Sun, Enon, Mount Herman, Wilmer, and Tangipahoa.
This includes the following Interstates...
Interstate 12 near mile marker 58.
Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 48 and 62.
