The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Terrebonne Parish in southeastern Louisiana...

* Until 830 PM CDT.

* At 724 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 20 miles west of
  Dulac, or 24 miles south of Morgan City, moving southwest at 10
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  southwestern Terrebonne Parish.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
