.DISCUSSION...Quiet weather continues with no precipitation in the
forecast through Friday. Temperatures increase substantially on
Wednesday and Thursday with forecasted highs well into the 90s. A
strong low pressure system will increase wind speeds and wind gusts
beginning Thursday afternoon to well above fire weather criteria with
gusts forecasted around 45 mph possible. Combined with RH values
below 15% fire weather watches and warnings are all but assured for
Thursday, Friday, and potentially Saturday afternoon. SPC is describing
the late week and Saturday setup as a high end Red Flag event.
