.DISCUSSION Elevated fire weather conditions expected this
afternoon and evening due to southwest wind gusts near 25 mph and
minimum relative humidity values as low as 7% to 15%. Elevated
conditions continue Monday as an approaching upper trough will shift
winds westerly at 10 MPH to 20 MPH with gusts up to 30 MPH possible.
High temperatures through Tuesday will be 5 to 10 degrees above
normal for this time of year. High pressure will keep temperatures
above seasonal values through next weekend. Likewise dry weather and
light to breezy W to SW winds will continue but wind speeds and RH
values are not forecast to approach critical values for each through
Friday.
