FRIDAY...

.DISCUSSION...A strong low pressure system will create southwesterly
flow and increase wind speeds dramatically across the area. Wind
speeds on Thursday (15-20 mph with gusts of 25-30 mph) will still be
strong but fall just short of Warning criteria. RH values below 15%
will make for a very dry windy afternoon and evening. On Friday wind
speeds increase to Warning criteria (25-30 mph with gusts 30-35 mph)
with equally dry RH values. Precipitation chances increase Friday
night as the system drags across the northern border of the state
leading to a cooler weekend.
