.DISCUSSION...Elevated fire weather conditions look to continue
through Tuesday as the threats from isolated dry thunderstorms is
replaced by breezy winds and low surface humidity. Convective
build-ups to Isolated dry thunderstorms will be possible through
late Sunday evening. Erratic outflow winds up to 50 mph and ground
lightning strikes are still the main hazards from storms. Outflow
boundaries created by collapsing convective build-
up/thunderstorms will persist and may trigger new storms to form,
or create areas of variable to northerly gusty winds up to 40 mph.
Should a boundary affect the fire zone it could lead to variable
fire behavior and growth. Outside of storms, sustained W-SW winds
of 15-25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph will continue through 11PM.
Winds will shift overnight to NW with speeds dropping to 5-10 mph
which will continue through sunrise Monday morning. Monday storm
chances are near zero, however winds will redevelop out of the SW
at 5-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph during the afternoon as
surface humidity drops to 10% or less. Temperatures Monday
afternoon will reach the upper 80s to low 90s with mostly clear
skies. Over night Monday into Tuesday winds again shift to the N
to NW at speeds of 5-10 mph with RH recovering to 25% to 30%
