FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

The center of high pressure of 30.1 inches will shift over Lake
Huron Tuesday. Look for areas of fog, dense possible, over the
northern quarter of Lake Michigan overnight, but expect it to
diminish by mid morning. Southerly winds will develop by early
afternoon and continue into Thursday as a low pressure trough 29.6
inches approaches from the northern Plains. Wind gusts to 30
knots are possible Wednesday afternoon along with building waves,
particularly across central and northern portions of the lake.

Expect northerly winds in the wake of the trough Thursday night
into Friday. Strong high pressure of 30.3 inches will overspread
the Great Lakes Friday night. A fast-moving trough of 29.7 inches
should cross Lake Superior early Sunday.
