FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure around 30.1 inches will shift over Lake Huron
today. Some of fog, locally dense, may linger over the northern
quarter of Lake Michigan through the late morning hours.

Southerly winds will develop by early this afternoon and continue
into Thursday, as a low pressure trough around 29.6 inches
approaches from the northern Plains. Wind gusts to 30 knots are
possible Wednesday afternoon, along with building waves,
particularly across central and northern portions of the lake.

Expect northerly winds in the wake of the trough Thursday night
into Friday. Strong high pressure around 30.3 inches will
overspread the Great Lakes Friday night. A fast-moving trough of
low pressure around 29.7 inches should cross Lake Superior early
Sunday.

.WEDNESDAY...South winds to 30 kt becoming southwest. Chance of
showers. Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft building to 6 to
9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to
