Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... Light to modest northwest winds continue today through this evening as low pressure of 29.5 inches lingers in the Hudson Bay area, and high pressure of 30.1 inches builds into the northern Great Plains. High pressure builds overhead overnight tonight into Saturday, bringing light and variable winds. Saturday afternoon, expect breezy southwest winds to develop as weak low pressure of 29.7 inches progresses through Lake Superior. Winds shift northwesterly Saturday night into Sunday as this low pressure system exits to the east and a cold front moves southeast across the lake. High pressure returns Sunday night into Monday for an additional period of light and variable winds.
