FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Two low pressures both around 29.5 inches sit over MN and the
Central Plains this morning. They are progged to slowly congeal
over the Upper Mississippi River Valley into one system later
today/tonight and will drive gusty southerly winds across Lake
Michigan today through Wednesday. Expecting 30kt gusts across
much of the lake during his period with a window for gales across
the central third of the open waters late this morning through
the afternoon. Thus, a Gale Warning remains in effect for this
aforementioned area.

Otherwise, periods of rain and a few rumbles of thunder will
accompany the merging low pressures today through midweek before
deepening to around 29.4 inches. The low pressure will slowly
move across northern WI into the Lake Superior region by Thursday.
Will continue to see the low pressure progress east into Quebec
through the end of the week bringing more westerly then northerly
winds to Lake Michigan, but are expected to remain below gales at
this time. Then high pressure around 30.2 inches will build into
the Upper Great Lakes Region behind the departing low for the
weekend bringing lighter winds.
