FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Lighter winds this morning will pick up out of the south to
southwest this afternoon and continue to increase this evening, as
high pressure of 30.4 inches overhead this morning heads
eastward. Gale force gusts are expected later this evening through
tonight across the north half of the lake.

Low pressure of 29.2 inches will approach from the northern
Plains Tuesday, bringing increased southerly winds across the
south half of the lake by Tuesday night as the low moves through.
Winds will all shift to northwesterly as the low exits into
Wednesday, with gales possible in the southern half throughout
this time frame. Winds gradually diminish Wednesday night,
remaining west to northwest through the end of the week.

afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 ft building to 3 to 5 ft.
.TONIGHT...South winds to 30 kt becoming southwest gales to
35 kt. Chance of snow in the evening, then snow overnight. Waves
5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft building to 10 to 14 ft
occasionally to 18 ft.
.TUESDAY...West gales to 35 kt diminishing to 10 to 20 kt. Chance
of snow in the morning, then chance of snow and rain in the
afternoon. Waves 8 to 12 ft occasionally to 16 ft subsiding to
6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 kt backing to east to
30 kt. Snow and rain. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft
building to 8 to 11 ft occasionally to 14 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...North gales to 35 kt. Snow likely in the morning.
Waves 8 to 12 ft occasionally to 16 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to
25 kt. Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft subsiding to 4 to
7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt. Waves 3 to 5 ft.
.FRIDAY...West winds 15 to 25 kt becoming northwest gales to
