FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Low pressure around 29.5 inches will meander across northern
MN/WI this morning before slowly lifting across Lake Superior this
evening. Will continue to see southerly winds with gusts up to 30
knots at time today/tonight. Low pressure will continue to slowly
trek across Ontario/Quebec for Thursday and drag a cold front
across Lake Michigan later Thursday into Friday. Expect lighter
but still breezy winds to gradually turn westerly as the cold
front approaches Thursday afternoon before increasing and shifting
northerly overnight into Friday. Will see gusts around 30 knots
spread down Lake Michigan on Friday as the low pressure and cold
front slide further east. There will be a potential for gale force
gusts during the day Friday and will continue to monitor trends,
but a gale headline may be warranted. Then high pressure around
30.3 inches is progged to build across the Upper Great Lake Region
through the weekend bringing lighter northwesterly winds.
