FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure around 30.5 inches will linger over the Mid-
Atlantic region today, before gradually weakening and shifting
into the Atlantic Ocean. This will allow light south to
southeasterly winds to continue across Lake Michigan through
tonight. Then low pressure around 29.4 inches will develop over
eastern CO later today and gradually progress into the Upper
Mississippi River Valley by early Tuesday morning. Expect
southerly winds to increase ahead of the approaching low pressure
and gusts over the Lake will approach or exceed gale force for
central portions of Lake Michigan Tuesday. Gusty winds could
continue through midweek as the low pressure slowly meanders
eastward while high pressure around 30.1 inches slowly builds
across the Canadian Plains. Then looking at more north and
westerly winds for Thursday as Lake Michigan sits between the
slowly departing low pressure and incoming high pressure.
