312 FZUS63 KMKX 030251 GLFLM OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI 851 PM CST Sun Nov 2 2025 FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan. Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... Strong low pressure of 29.1 inches will move across southern Hudson Bay, with southwest to west gales expected to continue across Lake Michigan. A Gale Warning remains in effect until 6 am CST Monday. Areas of rain are expected tonight along a cold front, drying out by around dawn Monday. Though the center of low pressure will retreat east- northeastward tomorrow, winds will remain gusty, with a few westerly gusts to gale force possible. An extension of the existing Gale Warning or a brand new Gale Warning cannot be ruled out for this period. West winds subside Monday night. High pressure will pass just south of the lake on Tuesday, with light to modest west winds turning south over time.
