663 FZUS63 KMKX 052109 GLFLM OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI 309 PM CST Fri Dec 5 2025 FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan. Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... A low pressure trough of 29.7 inches will cross Lake Michigan this evening and winds will veer to the west and become breezy Saturday morning as high pressure of 30.0 inches builds in from the west. Breezy northerly winds are then expected Sunday as low pressure around 30.0 inches crosses IL and the strengthening high pressure of 30.5 inches reaches Minnesota. Gusts are expected to remain below gales. Monday night will feature gusty southwest winds with a few gale force gusts possible as low pressure of 29.8 inches crosses Lake Superior. A low around 29.2 inches crossing central WI Tuesday night will bring another round of gusty winds and this system may also bring a few gale force gusts.
