FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Wildfire smoke currently overspreads Lake Michigan, with areas of
denser smoke reducing visibility to 1 nautical mile at times. A
Marine Dense Smoke Advisory is in effect across Lake Michigan into
early Monday morning.

Relatively light and variable winds expected to continue today
underneath high pressure around 30.0 inches. High pressure exits
southeastward tonight, with 29.4 inch low pressure tracking
southeastward across Manitoba and Ontario Canada tonight into
Monday. South to southwest winds build across the lake tonight,
becoming gusty into Monday. A few gusts to gale force will be
possible Monday afternoon and evening over the northern half of
the lake. Strong to severe thunderstorms will also be possible
Monday afternoon through Monday night across the lake.

A cold front crosses the lake Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Winds veer northwest and become gusty again as it passes. Winds
veer due north later Tuesday into Tuesday night with a few gusts
to gale force possible.

this morning, then veering to south 10 to 20 kt early this
afternoon becoming southwest late. Areas of smoke through mid
morning, then patchy smoke this afternoon. Waves 1 to 2 ft.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 20 kt increasing to 15 to 25 kt.
Patchy smoke. Chance of showers overnight. Waves 2 to 4 ft.
.MONDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 25 kt becoming south to around 30
kt. A few gusts to gale force possible late. Areas of smoke in
the morning, then patchy smoke in the afternoon. Chance of showers
and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 ft building to 6
to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...South winds to 30 kt becoming southwest. A few
gusts to gale force possible. Patchy smoke in the evening.
Showers with a chance of thunderstorms in the evening, then chance
of showers and thunderstorms overnight. Waves 6 to 9 ft
occasionally to 12 ft.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds to 30 kt increasing to gales to 35 kt.
Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...North gales to 35 kt. Waves 7 to 10 ft
occasionally to 13 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...North winds to 30 kt. Waves 6 to 9 ft occasionally
to 12 ft.
.THURSDAY...West winds 10 to 20 kt becoming southwest 15 to
25 kt. Waves 1 to 3 ft.

.TONIGHT...North winds 10 to 20 kt veering to southeast 5 to
10 kt late in the evening, then becoming south after midnight

.MONDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 20 kt becoming south to 30 kt.
Areas of smoke in the morning, then patchy smoke in the
afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 ft building to 5 to 8 ft occasionally to
10 ft.

evening. Showers with a chance of thunderstorms in the evening,
then showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms overnight.

.TUESDAY NIGHT...North gales to 35 kt diminishing to 30 kt. Waves
