FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure around 30.4 inches over Hudson Bay will move to
Ontario and Lake Superior this morning, then south over Lake
Michigan for this afternoon/tonight. Expect light to modest
easterly early this morning then back to northerly on through the
day. Light and variable winds are then forecast this
evening/tonight. Southerly winds will then return to Lake
Michigan for Wednesday and Wednesday night as the high pressure
slowly moves east of the region. Winds are expected to gradually
increase and shift more southwesterly for Thursday afternoon and
night. Shower and storm chances will return late week into the
weekend.

morning, then increasing to 10 to 20 kt early this afternoon
becoming northwest late. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt diminishing to 5 to 10 kt
late in the evening, then becoming west after midnight becoming
south late. Waves 1 to 3 ft subsiding to 1 ft or less.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 kt becoming south 10 to
20 kt. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...South winds 10 to 20 kt becoming southwest.
Waves 2 to 4 ft.
.THURSDAY...South winds 15 to 25 kt increasing to 30 kt. Waves
2 to 4 ft building to 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds to 30 kt diminishing to 10 to
20 kt. Chance of showers. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft
subsiding to 3 to 5 ft.
