FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Southwest winds are expected overnight, as high pressure around
30.4 inches moves into the Mid-Atlantic region. Winds will be
south to southwest and increase on Monday, as low pressure around
29.8 inches develops in the Middle Mississippi Valley. Southerly
winds will continue into Tuesday, as low pressure strengthens to
29.6 inches over Minnesota.

A cold front from this low will surge eastward across the lake
Tuesday night, as the low continues to strengthen to around 29.3
inches, bringing westerly gales by Wednesday morning. Westerly
gales will become northwesterly Wednesday night, continuing into
Thursday morning before diminishing, as the low pressure system
finally shifts into northern Quebec.

10 kt. Rain likely. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft
subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.

.TUESDAY NIGHT...South winds 10 to 20 kt becoming southwest to
30 kt overnight. Rain. Waves 2 to 4 ft building to 7 to 10 ft
occasionally to 13 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...West gales to 40 kt increasing to 45 kt in the
afternoon. Rain with snow likely in the morning, then snow in the
afternoon. Waves 12 to 16 ft occasionally to 21 ft building to 14

.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...West gales to 45 kt becoming northwest. Snow.
Waves 14 to 18 ft occasionally to 23 ft.
