FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

North winds will gradually ease overnight into Monday morning, as
high pressure around 30.3 inches moves across the lake.

Winds will then increase and veer to south southeast Monday
afternoon and night, becoming south into Tuesday, as low pressure
around 29.3 inches moves from southern Manitoba through northern
Ontario. Gales are expected Monday night into Tuesday morning. A
Gale Warning has been issued for Lake Michigan.

Periods of showers and thunderstorms will accompany the
developing low from as early as Monday evening into Tuesday. Winds
will trend north to northeast Tuesday night into Wednesday, as
high pressure around 30.3 inches moves into the region. North to
northeast winds may linger into the rest of the week, as the high
slowly moves to the east of the region.

.MONDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 kt backing to southwest late in
the morning, then becoming south early in the afternoon becoming
10 to 20 kt late. Waves 1 to 2 ft building to 1 to 3 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...South winds to 30 kt increasing to gales to
40 kt. Chance of showers in the evening, then showers overnight.
Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft building to 10 to 14 ft
occasionally to 18 ft.
.TUESDAY...Southwest gales to 40 kt diminishing to 30 kt. Chance
of showers in the morning. Waves 10 to 14 ft occasionally to 18 ft
