Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... Breezy east to southeasterly winds will shift to northerly late tonight as low pressure around 29.8 inches over northern IL reaches Lake Huron by late Sunday morning. This will induce northwest gales for Sunday into early Sunday evening for the entire open lake. A Gale Warning is in effect. Winds will gradually ease Sunday night into Monday as high pressure around 30.6 inches builds across the Great Lakes exiting to the east Monday night.
