FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

North to northeast winds will persist across Lake Michigan
through Friday as high pressure around 30.3 inches moves into the
western Great Lakes from the Northern Plains. This area of high
pressure will slowly move eastward and be overhead Saturday.
Winds will light and variable across the lake much of the day
Saturday before becoming light south to southeasterly Sunday
afternoon as the high pushes into the New England States.

.THURSDAY NIGHT...North winds to 30 kt becoming northeast 10 to
20 kt. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft subsiding to 2 to
4 ft.
.FRIDAY...North winds 10 to 20 kt. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt becoming west 5 to
10 kt overnight. Waves 1 to 3 ft subsiding to 1 to 2 ft.

30 kt. Showers and slight chance of thunderstorms through early
evening, then chance of showers overnight. Waves 5 to 8 ft
occasionally to 10 ft.
.THURSDAY...Northeast winds to 30 kt becoming north. Slight
chance of showers in the morning. Patchy smoke. Waves 5 to 8 ft
occasionally to 10 ft subsiding to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to
9 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...North winds to 30 kt becoming northeast 15 to
25 kt late in the evening, then diminishing to 10 to 20 kt after
midnight becoming northeast 10 to 20 kt late. Patchy smoke in the
evening. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft subsiding to 4 to
7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.FRIDAY...Northeast winds 10 to 20 kt becoming north. Waves 3 to
5 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 20 kt becoming northeast 10 to
15 kt. Waves 2 to 4 ft.
.SATURDAY...Northeast winds 5 to 10 kt becoming north 10 to
15 kt. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
