Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... High pressure around 30.4 inches over Lake Michigan will shift to Lower Michigan this afternoon. Light and variable winds will become southerly through the day as the high pressure slowly moves east of the region. Modest south to southwest winds will then prevail over the lake for Thursday into Saturday morning followed by a wind shift to the north during a cold frontal passage Saturday afternoon. Shower and storm chances will return Friday and Saturday.
