Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... High pressure of 30.1 inches over the Great Lakes will gradually shift southward today. Light south to southeast winds this morning will pick up a bit for this afternoon, becoming southwest tonight. Modest to breezy southerly winds will then prevail this weekend and on Monday as a trough of low pressure slowly moves from the Great Plains to the Upper Mississippi Valley. Rounds of thunderstorms can be expected over Lake Michigan from Saturday afternoon into Monday.
