Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... A Gale Warning remains in effect into this evening for breezy southwest winds. The winds will remain just under gale force in the north. Brisk west to northwest winds will then prevail late tonight through Wednesday. The winds may briefly approach gales, but are anticipated to remain below criteria. Much lighter winds are then expected Wednesday night into Thursday and Thursday night as high pressure of 30.2 inches approaches from the west.
