.DISCUSSION... Upper low and sfc cold front will approach today sparking
widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms. Rain amounts will range
0.20 to 0.50" with locally higher amounts up to an inch from heavier
rainfall. Some storms could be strong to severe later this afternoon.
Activity will diminish overnight and clear from the NW to the SE and
become mainly dry for the end of the week and into the weekend.
