.DISCUSSION...Continued cool and cloudy conditions are expected today across
the area, with patchy fog and drizzle possible this morning. Later today,
rain chances will increase from west to east across the area, with off and on
rain showers expected to continue this afternoon through Saturday morning.
A few thunderstorms will be possible Friday afternoon and evening, but
severe weather is not expected at this time. Total rainfall amounts between
now and Saturday are expected to be around 1", with locally higher rainfall
amounts possible. Drier weather is not expected to return until Saturday
afternoon, with the second half of the weekend expected to remain dry.
