.DISCUSSION...More showers and thunderstorms are expected across the area
this afternoon and evening. Heavy rainfall and lightning will be the main
hazards with thunderstorms, although a few storms could produce gusty winds.
Ample moisture will keep mixing heights fairly shallow, and a stalled out
front which continues to linger over the region will keep winds light today.
As a result, dispersion parameters will remain suppressed, though some
improvement is expected Tuesday into Wednesday. Daily chances of afternoon
showers and storms looks to continue at least through Thursday.
