.DISCUSSION...

High pressure will move across the Ohio Valley Thursday morning, bringing
light winds and sunny skies with temperatures warming into the mid 60s
Thursday afternoon. Model temperature and moisture profiles show ample
dry air aloft, so there is a chance that drier air will mix down to the
ground, resulting in humidity values being lower than currently forecasted.
By Thursday afternoon, high pressure will shift off to the east, resulting
in light east-southeasterly winds beginning across the area. Smoke
dispersion parameters remain in the upper end of the poor range on Thursday,
as the combination of light winds aloft and fairly shallow mixing heights
limit ADI values.

Thursday night into Friday, a cold front will approach and then move through
the region, bringing a line of showers and a few embedded thunderstorms with
it. Winds will be gusty out of the south and southwest on Friday, with gusts
of 25 to 35 mph expected. Temperatures should warm into the upper 60s on
Friday.

NOTE: Fire weather parameters for Friday will be available by tomorrow
morning.
