...Gusty Winds This Afternoon...

Gusty west to west-southwest winds will be common across southern
Indiana and central Kentucky this afternoon. Typical wind gusts of
30 to 35 mph will be possible, though a few spots could gust to 40
mph at times.

These winds will gradually diminish toward sunset due to the loss
of daytime heating and good atmospheric mixing.
