...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN MONROE...SOUTHEASTERN
ALLEN AND SOUTHEASTERN BARREN COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 AM CDT...

At 1107 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles north of Lafayette, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Gamaliel, Fountain Run, Oak Forest, Bugtussle, Gum Tree, Maynard,
Freetown, Walnut Hill, Tracy, and Mount Zion.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
