...Conditions favorable for cold air funnels this afternoon...

An upper level disturbance will produce weather conditions that
are favorable for cold air funnel clouds this afternoon.

These relatively weak funnels typically form under a small
shower or thunderstorm and rarely touch the ground. they normally
extend a few hundred feat downward from the base of the cloud and
last a few minutes before dissipating.

On occasion, these funnels can briefly touch the ground as a weak
tornado or landspout, but these types of tornadoes are usually not
as strong as those that form with severe thunderstorms.

If you see a funnel cloud approaching your location, seek shelter
indoors.
