...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN GREEN...WEST
CENTRAL RUSSELL...NORTH CENTRAL CUMBERLAND...ADAIR AND NORTHEASTERN
METCALFE COUNTIES THROUGH 1230 AM CDT...

At 1200 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Columbia, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Russell Springs, Pickett, Portland, Cundiff, Gadberry,
Bliss, Fry, Fairplay, and Russell County Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
