...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN CUMBERLAND AND
SOUTHWESTERN CLINTON COUNTIES UNTIL 215 PM CDT...

At 130 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Burkesville, or 43 miles southwest of Liberty, moving southeast at 10
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
  Albany, Burkesville, Leslie, Modoc, Bow, Green Grove, Hegira,
  Kettle, Tanbark and Frogue.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
