For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.1 inch high will briefly ridge south across the
Lake through tonight as it slides east across southern Quebec. A
29.2 inch low will then track from the SOO Saturday morning to
central New England by early Sunday morning. As the low tracks just
north of the Lake, it will push an attendant warm front across the
Lake Saturday afternoon, followed by a cold front crossing the Lake
Saturday night. A trough averaging 29.6 inches then lingers over
lower Great Lakes Sunday and Monday. A 30.2 inch high will build
east across the Great Lakes region Tuesday through Wednesday.

.SATURDAY NIGHT...West winds 15 to 25 knots increasing to
30 knots. Showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 8 to 11 feet.
Waves occasionally around 14 feet.
.SUNDAY...West winds to 30 knots becoming northwest. A chance of
rain showers in the morning, then rain showers likely in the
afternoon. Waves 8 to 12 feet. Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...West winds to 30 knots becoming northwest. Rain
and snow showers likely. Waves 6 to 10 feet. Waves occasionally
around 13 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds to 30 knots becoming west 15 to
25 knots. Snow showers likely with a chance of rain showers
during the day, then a chance of rain showers Monday night. Waves
6 to 9 feet subsiding to 3 to 5 feet. Waves occasionally around
11 feet.
