For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.4 high just off the mid Atlantic coastline will
continue to slowly drift further offshore through this afternoon. A
29.5 inch low is then forecast to move very slowly from the upper
Mississippi Valley this afternoon to the upper Great Lakes by
Wednesday, and then across Quebec Thursday and Friday.   Following
the passage of the low, a 29.9 inch trough will linger across the
Lower Great Lakes Saturday.
